Don't Forget: Mayor speaking TONIGHT at Mickle Center

Mayor Frank Cownie will be Des Moines Neighbors' speaker 7 PM on June 23rd. The mayor was asked to present his vision of how Des Moines Neighbors and local neighborhoods can impact the quality of living in Des Moines. Topics will cover ways neighborhood associations can have greater influence on decisions made by the City Council, activities in the neighborhoods that contribute to Des Moines, and resources that may be available to neighborhoods.

The meeting will be at the Bob Mickle Center 1620 Pleasant Street.

Dahls on Ingersoll = New Meeting Spot

For at least the summer months, (June, July and August) our meetings will be held in the Dahls cafeteria.

Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
