Don't Miss: Today, 6/8 Dedication Ceremony
Don't forget, at 10:00 a.m. today, Saturday June 8 - the new entrance arch at Woodland Heights Cemetery will be dedicated.
The event will start in front of the receiving vault. This is a special event to not only dedicate the arch, but to honor longtime Woodland preservation advocate Gerald LeBlanc.
Gerald is a retired history teacher from the Des Moines Public School system - he taught at Callanan for a time. He's been actively raising funds not only for the arch, but to help preserve some of the older stones in the cemetery.
It's a beautiful morning, come down and join us!
