2019 NNO event a great success

The Woodland Heights Organization hosted one of many National Night Out events throughout the city of Des Moines, the metro, and the nation on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.  These nation-wide events are held on the first Tuesday in August and is a "... community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.  National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.  Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances." Neighborhood Party is Tonight

Don't forget to join us for National Night Out!  It's a great opporunity to grab dinner and socialize with your neighbors.


Time: 5 pm to 8 pm.
Where: Covered shelter at Chamberlain Park corner of M L King and Woodland Avenue.

Dinner is provided - hot dogs, chips, salads, cookies and cold beverages. New playground equipment for children of all ages. Live music, door prizes and it's all FREE !!

Tuesday, August 2nd - Free Dinner (National Night Out!)

National Night Out celebration is being held at Chamberlain Park at the corner of 22nd and Woodland Avenue, one block West of M L King on Woodland Avenue. Start time is 5 pm and lasts to 8 pm.

PLEASE ATTEND!!!

There will be plenty of food and drink for all the Woodland Heights neighbors who attend. There is a playgrond for children and a drawing for door prizes. Please come and visit with your neighbors this Tuesday night, August 2nd at Chamberlain Park!!!
